In 2014, we listened to the voices of children, young people, parents, vicars, police, social care workers, teachers, youth workers and health workers. We mapped the most significant issues affecting children and young people in Oxfordshire and how churches were responding to these needs. Our research showed that the top issues are struggling families, low self-esteem, difficulty entering employment, household poverty and lack of aspiration.

Since the public launch of the research report in May 2015 and the enthusiasm of many groups for collaborative work, the Doorsteps network has been gathering members and momentum.
